Software v2.8.15 released

I’m happy to announce that a new release of the IPbus software suite (i.e. uHAL library and the ControlHub) is now available!

This release fixes some critical errors in the installation of ControlHub EL8 & EL9 RPMs on EL8, and adds multi-process & multi-threading protections to the IPbus-over-mmap client. Due to the CentOS7 EOL, we are also no longer adding new RPMs to the ARMv7 EL7 YUM repository.

You can update from previous v2.8.x releases to this release like so:

sudo yum clean all          # may be necessary
sudo yum groupupdate controlhub uhal

N.B. This release is API and ABI compatible with previous software releases (v2.8.x) - i.e. end-users do NOT have to recompile their C++ source code after updating.
