Software v2.7.7 released

I’m happy to announce that a new release of the IPbus software suite (i.e. uHAL library and the ControlHub) is now available!

This release adds a support for GCC 8.2.1 (devtoolset 8) on CentOS7. The release notes can be found here

Installation instructions are located here. You can update from any previous 2.7.x release (i.e. versions 2.7.0 to 2.7.6) to this release like so:

sudo yum clean all          # may be necessary
sudo yum groupupdate uhal

N.B. This release is API and ABI compatible with the previous v2.7.x releases - i.e. end-users do NOT have to recompile their C++ source code after updating from any previous v2.7.x release.
